![]() ![]() ![]() Has anybody else experienced this issue? Clearly this is a bug, but is there a clever fix anyone is aware of ( open and close the xyz window, keyboard focus restored, wham-bam-thank-you-mam)? I'm running version 2.0.48 under Windows 7. I have to close and reopen the whole program, or suck it up and use the mouse for my reviews (yuck). I've tried clicking on different buttons, using the tab key to cycle between buttons, opening and closing the edit window, minimizing and resizing, returning to the deck list nothing will restore the keyboard shortcuts I was using at before. Now, anki seems to have somehow permanently lost focus and keyboard shortcuts no longer work. I click on edit in the bottom left corner, edit the problematic flash card, and close the edit window to save the changes. However, as soon as I need to fix anything I run into a problem. I start a study session as I do every day, using the keyboard shortcuts (space bar, 1-4 to choose difficulty, - and = to bury cards etc) to answer my flash cards in a speedy manner. So I have a pretty infuriating Anki bug that has been. Users that routinely delete their posts once they receive an answer might be excluded from participating on the sub. Are there any shortcuts for using Anki Yes, Anki has several keyboard shortcuts that you can use to navigate the software more efficiently. I remember in Windows 7, I had to switch it for each application. When it is installed the “Windows 10 way,” I think that is when the keyboard switch works across all applications. (See screenshot below.) I was somehow able to reinstall it to get the correct behavior. I do want to mention at one point I accidentally installed it the “Windows 7 way” where it shows EN/UR for the language codes instead of ENG/ار – even though I was on Windows 10. I have no experience with Thai keyboards though, and I know sometimes there is a need to switch between different keyboards within the same language, which could make it more complicated. Unlike Ctrl-1 or Shift-Alt-whatever, it is more or less guaranteed not to conflict with any application keyboard shortcut. As I note both of you are using Windows, I really like using the default keyboard shortcut to switch keyboards since Windows 10, Win-Space. ![]()
